Dear Chester Academy Community,

I am sending this message to inform you that one of our Kindergarten students has tested positive for COVID-19.  After consultation with the NH Division of Public Health Services, it has been determined that there may be some risk of exposure to all students in Kindergarten because they eat lunch and have recess together.  Principal Lacroix is also sending a separate message to families whose students have been identified as close contacts.

Our collective efforts have helped keep our transmission rates relatively low at Chester Academy. Please continue to closely monitor your children and do not send them to school if they have any new or unexplained symptoms of COVID-19 or if someone in their household has been diagnosed with COVID-19 in the prior 14 days. Please report any symptoms or exposure to the school nurse.

Thank you again for your partnership in keeping our students safe, healthy, and in-person this school year.

Sincerely,

Sharon Locke, EdD

Superintendent of Schools
