Dear Chester Academy Community,

I am sending this message to inform you that we have received separate reports of two new COVID cases; one is a student and the other is a staff member. The student case is a confirmed household transmission with no risk of exposure at school. The staff member was last in school on Friday, November 5th, and works predominantly with kindergarten students.  Principal Lacroix will be contacting those who are considered close contacts.

Please be reminded to monitor your children closely and not send them to school with any new or unexplained symptoms of COVID-19 this includes even mild symptoms.  Please also report any symptoms or exposure to the school nurse.

Thank you again for your partnership in keeping our students safe, healthy, and in-person this school year.

Sincerely,

Sharon Locke, EdD

Superintendent of Schools
