Dear Chester Academy Community,

I am sending this message to inform you that a staff member has tested positive for COVID-19. The staff person was last in school on Thursday, October 21, 2021 and there may have been a slight risk of exposure for students in grade 6.

I would like to thank everyone for their continued efforts to keep our transmission rates low at Chester Academy. Please be reminded to monitor your children closely and not send them to school with any new or unexplained symptoms of COVID-19 this includes even mild symptoms.  Please also report any symptoms or exposure to the school nurse.

Thank you again for your partnership in keeping our students safe, healthy, and in-person this school year.

Sincerely,

Sharon Locke, EdD

Superintendent of Schools
